Amy's great passion in life is assisting others to feel healthier, live healthier and to embrace the many wonderful benefits of mental and physical wellbeing. Originally from Australia, Amy attended Michigan State University in the US on a tennis scholarship to play on the varsity women's tennis team. Due to her elite tennis career in America, she learned the importance, first hand, of implementing quality nutrition to maximize elite sports performance. As well as the significance of other lifestyle practices to meet the variety of demands of todays fast pace society.
Graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in Dietetics, Amy became a Registered Dietitian following her internship at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. She then worked as a clinical dietitian helping people with a variety of illnesses learn how to use food to manage their disease symptoms and improve their quality of life. After working in a hospital she realized, to really help people and make a change in the world, she needed to work in preventative care and that's how she ended up at The Caterer. Amy has set the tone for the business model at The Caterer through her beliefs that everyone can feel great and have more energy by incorporating lifestyle practices, such as healthy, great tasting food and moderate, enjoyable exercise, into their busy lives. She is working closely with the management at The Caterer to promote health and wellness in Dubai by creating a culture for mindfulness and balanced eating.
